Help with the Kármán Ops app for iPhone and iPad and the web console. Can’t find your answer? Write to support@karmanops.com and tell us your company and what you were doing.

Getting started

  1. Ask your company’s Kármán Ops admin for the Flight Department Code.
  2. Download Kármán Ops from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad (iOS 18.6 or later).
  3. Tap Get started, enter the code, then your name, email and role. Use the email address your admin has on file, so your crew profile is linked to your account.
  4. Enter the code we email you to confirm your address.
  5. The first sign-in downloads your company’s aircraft, crew, trips and records. After that the app works offline and syncs when it has a connection.

The app is free. Your flight department’s Kármán Ops service covers everyone in the company; nothing is sold inside the app.

Signing in

Passkeys

After you sign in with your password, iOS may offer to save a passkey for Kármán Ops in your iCloud Keychain. Next time, tap the email field and choose the passkey above the keyboard, or tap Sign in with a passkey. The same passkey signs you in to the web console at www.karmanops.com. Manage your passkeys in Settings › Account › Passkeys.

Forgot your password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and follow the email we send you.

Common questions

I don’t see my company’s trips or aircraft.

Pull down to refresh, and check the sync status at the top of Home. If you signed up with a different email than the one your admin entered, ask your admin to check your crew profile, or write to us.

How are documents read?

When you scan a passport, receipt, fuel ticket or report, the iPhone reads it first. When it can’t, and only if you allow it, the image is sent to Claude, an AI service by Anthropic, to read it. You can change this any time in Settings › Receipt Scanning › Read with Claude. See our Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Kármán Ops tells you about trip changes, seats to confirm, close-outs and expiring documents. Choose which ones in Settings › Notifications, or turn them off in the iOS Settings app.

Live tracking and times

Aircraft position and OUT / OFF / ON / IN come from Satcom Direct and FlightAware when your company connects them. They can be late or missing; always check times before you close a Flight Log. Maps and charts in the app are not for navigation.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Delete Account and confirm. This deletes your sign-in, your passkeys and the notifications to your phones, and removes everything Kármán Ops keeps on that device.

Your company keeps its operating records: your crew profile, flight logs, legs, signatures and receipts. To have your crew profile or documents removed, ask your company’s admin, or write to privacy@karmanops.com. If you can’t open the app, email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.
